LOT resume flight operations - first flights will depart from JFK, Chicago O’Hare and Toronto today.

New York, April 20th, 2:00 pm local time - LOT decided to operate flights from New York , Chicago and Toronto to Warsaw.
The flights plan to depart to Warsaw as follows:

LO 002 Chicago – Warsaw at 5:25 pm CST
LO 007 New York – Warsaw at 6:15 pm EST
LO 1042 Toronto – Warsaw at 7:00 pm EST

At the present time, we can only offer transportation between the USA and Warsaw, as well as between Toronto and Warsaw. As not all flights are operating to/from Warsaw, currently we can not guarantee travel arrangements from Warsaw to the final destinations. We recommend that all transit passengers make alternative plans for travels from Warsaw.

LOT Polish Airlines operations in the next few days will depend on the current conditions, we ask all of our passengers to be patient and monitor the situation through our web site at www.lot.com or call LOT flight information at: 212-789-0960.

Tickets purchased on LOT Polish Airlines flights, which did not depart due to the ash cloud above Europe, remain valid and reservation changes may be made at 212-789-0970. All customers whose flights have been cancelled can change their booking free of charge on flights operating until May 31, 2010. Passengers who would like to request a refund should send an email with reservation details (name, route, date and flight number, your contact information) to: info@lot.pl.
