KONTINENT MEDIA ATTENDS STRIKEFORCE SEMI-FINALS HEAVYWEIGHT TOURNAMENT AT CINCINNATI

September 10, 2011, Cincinnati, OH, Kontinent Media attends Strikeforce Semi-Finals Heavyweight Tournament at the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati. Featured fighters Barnett, Kharitonov, Silva, Cormier, Souza and Rockhold did not disappoint their fans. Many fans have come to see their favorite fighters.

Kontinent Media was pleased to be selected to represent the Russian-speaking community at this event. It was exciting to see an unexpected upset by such fighters as Rockhold and Cormier. We could not help but to cheer for Kharitonov, an emerging Russian fighter. We saw many familiar faces at this fight that came to cheer for one of their own.

After the fight we had a chance to briefly speak with Kharitonov, who stated that he regrets that he was not in his best physical condition. Barnett praised Kharitonov’s effort by saying that he was a good opponent and was looking forward towards seeing him fight in the future.
