KONTINENT MEDIA AT THE PASSPORT TO POLAND – “WORKING TOGETHER TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE”
On May 18, 2012, in Chicago, IL, the Polish American Chamber of Commerce hosted a Passport to Poland networking reception. The event was held on the eve of the Workshop on Enhancing Poland-US Collaboration in Business and the NATO Summit.
The networking reception co-sponsored by the Trade & Investment Section of Poland’s Embassy in Washington DC was attended by over 150 esteemed guests was held at the Metropolitan Club, one of the Chicago’s finest business clubs located at the Willis Tower. Guests had an opportunity to mingle and network while enjoying wine and au d’oeuvres.
The event likewise, featured remarks by Minister Counselor Pawel Pietrasienski, Head of the Trade & Investment Section, following introductory and welcoming remarks by PACC Board President Lucas Fuksa. Guests of honor included representatives of numerous agencies and organizations involved in commercial relations between Poland and the US, Polish Army, Illinois National Guard, US and Polish central and local government offices, diplomats, and media.
Leonard Mogul for Kontinent Media remarked that “it was truly a great opportunity to network with many prominent representatives of the Polish-American community.” He also added that “as a representative of the Eastern European community it is particularly important to build strong ties with the thriving Polish community.”
