KONTINENT MEDIA ATTENDS “CONNECT. INSPIRE. GROW.” PROFESSIONAL NETWORKING EVENT

August 8, 2011, Chicago, IL, Kontinent Media attended “Connect.Inspire.Grow.” professional networking event. The networking event attended by over 200 people was aimed towards professionals and Chicago entrepreneurs to learn from various business leaders as well as to network and expend their business. The event took place at The Hilton Chicago located on magnificent mile in the Normandy Lounge.

The mission of “Connect. Inspire. Grow.” Networking Events is to connect professionals that will inspire each other from their experiences and allow them to grow their success. “We want to provide professionals with information on how to get started on their goals and make the most of their opportunities, as well as inspire business owners to grow their current business.”
Those in attendance heard an inspirational panel of guest speakers’ talk about how they made their dreams come true. Speakers included: Laura Schwartz (White House Director of Events for the Clinton Administration, International Television Commentator and author of a book on the networking power of social events), Matt Matros (Founder of Protein Bar Chicago), Cassandra Gaddo (Editor of Today’s Chicago Women Magazine), Jeff Pieta (President at All Information Services, Inc) and Rhonda Sanderson (Founder of Sanderson Public Relations).

After the event, we were able to briefly speak with one of the event organizers Jennifer Christenson about what this event stands for and means for the Chicago business community. She remarked that “Connect. Inspire. Grow. was started to show people how much they can accomplish when they connect with each other. Most importantly [we aim] to inspire people to overcome obstacles and live their dreams.” She added that the most rewarding thing about these events is hearing our guests say they left feeling inspired. That is what this is all about. It means we did our job of helping to make a difference for our fellow Chicagoans.”

Leonard Mogul, Market Development Director for Kontinent Media remarked that “it indeed inspired people to overcome their obstacles having provided them with the valuable tips on how to do just that.” Mr. Mogul further added “this event was quite unique in its approach to networking. It inspired you to come out your comfort zone and build bridges with other professionals. After all, in order to build a road to success one must create many bridges on their path!”
